I want some. Misinformed people, including Animal Control, have all but eradicated bats here in LA, but a healthy bat population would do a lot to cut down on mosquitoes and other insects who carry diseases to plants and us and the bat guano is a very valuable by product which could be harvested as they do in Austin, where they enjoy one of the largest bat colonies in North America. The red tail bats migrate here to mate and breed then go back to Mexico for the winter. ( yeah, I know). I could think of a lot of good reasons to cultivate them here, starting with West Nile and heart worms- both mosquito born threats. These babies, however, are just cuteness overload.
