I want to personally wish Ms. Denise Dymond Lyn and Commissioner Scott Carnahan a very Merry Christmas. They both demonstrated exceptional leadership skills during last weeks County Attorney selection, regarding the topic of an old judgment of Ms. Lyns. We all face ups and downs in life, and sometimes there is no need to cause someone unnecessary ridicule. Another Board member chose a different approach. When I look at the attached documents, I struggled for my first thought. Hypocrisy or “the old pot kettle black syndrome.” Please review, then decide. Sometimes, as Commissioner Carnahan stated, “judgments can be an unfortunate part of the business world.” To this particular debtors credit, the judgments were eventually satisfied, apparently for reduced sums. Might have added something had he let citizens know, that he, like some, has had a litany of judgment issues. For the record, Ms. Lyn has never defaulted on a credit obligation. The Countys current carnival-barker obviously cannot make such a claim. The unnecessary rhetoric from some on the BOCC is becoming deafening. Merry Christmas to ALL !!!
