I want to tell you all a story. (Whats new?) While at the Loma Linda Veterans hospital emergency room this week, Karol was out in the car waiting for me in the ER parking lot in a handicapped spot with our new dog,Bennie. I called her on my cell to come in and get me(I was in a wheel chair due to a fall). When she went to put the car window up so he wouldnt escape, the car battery was dead, so she called me back and told me that. .I walked out slowly, found the car. Cars were circling the parking lot awaiting the handicapped spot. I stepped into the line of awaiting cars and told the driver the spot was not available due to a dead battery. He got out, asked me if we had jumper cables, I said yes, and he hollered for help and four handicapped limping veterans got out of their cars and made it to mine to push it out of the spot so they could use our cables to jump it. I just wanted you to know about how this veteran kinship goes on forever.
