I want to thank everyone for lifting me back up today. Its been an extremely rocky road since I got out of the army and every week I seem to be facing a new set of challenges. A lot of ups and downs but I can honestly say that if it werent for the consistency of friends and loved ones I would of certainly derailed by now. Going from a stable and consistent salary with benefits and relative predictability to a day by day roll of the dice is a major adjustment. Whats working out to be about 20% of what I earned this time last year has had me feeling like a bit of a failure in its own regard but I was reminded by all of you of how successful I really am. Im successful because despite it being a poor financial decision, I decided to pursue my dreams. Thats a success. It took alot to trust myself and sever the military umbilical cord despite others advice to stay in and retire at 38. And because of that decision I not only have support from all my military and east coast friends who beleived in me for doing it in the first place, but from all my new friends and family that I have here at a place I can finally call home. Im extremely fortunate to have all of you and the love and support you show me is quite literally priceless. I dont know what Ive done to win your favor, but I promise you all that Im extremely proud to have it. Much love. ♡
