I want to thank everyone for the huge outpouring of condolences & support and offers of help over FB, email, phone calls, texts, etc. We absolutely NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET (MORE INFO BELOW). I want to thank the droves of people who have been coming through the last 2 days making sure my father is never alone. My mothers autopsy was yesterday but we may not know what happened for 2-3 months because of the turnaround on the toxicology report. For now our best guess is a brain aneurysm. When I first moved here to Florida she cried nearly every day about missing her friends in Virginia. I was so happy to watch and help as she learned to use a computer to keep up with everyone here on Facebook. It really made her life so much more full to be in touch with everyone she loved back in her hometown. She always read healthy recipes and researched organic this and that. She loved her pool and spent a minimum of an hour in it every day doing aerobics. She fell asleep every night on the floor petting her greyhound, Hope. Her final day on this Earth was a blast spent with friends having fun. Today we visited the funeral home and made arrangements. She is going to be cremated and will be buried in my fathers arms hopefully VERY far in the future. There will be a memorial service / remembrance in Palm Bay and another down south in my fathers hometown of Ft Lauderdale. Many people have asked for information on when this will be. We do not have any dates set but I will post here when we do. Many of you have asked to be notified personally but I cannot promise that we can email/text/call everyone individually, so please continue to check back here or call/text. To all those who have offered to help: My parents were married 35 years this last April. My father and I have been remodeling a house since March and we have been proudly posting pictures of our progress ( https://facebook/media/set/?set=a.692099777498234.1073741827.126322097409341&type=1 - the newest pictures in this gallery are a month old). The house is not done, and staying here in our old house in Melbourne which my parents shared for nearly 9 years, my father is rapidly deteriorating. He can no longer stand to be here. Many of you are her childhood friends who still live in Virginia and it is simply impractical to help. Please continue to post your memories and pictures on her timeline. To the many, many of you who said anything you need, for anyone in Florida, WE NEED YOU. As I said before, my dad can simply not tolerate being in this house they shared for 9 years. We need every hand, skilled or not, to help finish the new house and help us move in. 3/4 of the tile is down, the grouting needs to be done, trim, hanging some doors, putting up fixtures, installing new doors in the exterior cinder block, drywall and framing, electrical and especially the move itself. Even vehicle maintenance and repair and body work on the family vehicles would be greatly appreciated. You can text me on my cell phone at 321-960-9846 Thank you all so much.
