I wanted to acknowledge a very important day. My mum has left Maesknoll EPH after almost 26 years. The home has been closed by BCC. Maesknoll has been a very special place to many many people. Anyone who ever worked there knows the special place that it was, in fact everyone who worked there made it the special place it was. We all had the best of times and the worst of times there. Lifelong friendships were made. I will never forget my time there! And in case no one has said it to you all, well done for staying to its end!! Im sure its been a difficult time. I think anyone who reads this and has worked there will join me in saying that closing this home makes for a very sad day! I think anyone who has worked there will never forget it, and we never should. Well done and a pat on the back to us all, my mum especially (obviously)!!! X
