I wanted to address some news on my feed complaining about Seahawks fans, BANDWAGON fans, or “women who watch football who don’t know what the hell is going on”. Why do you care so much who I am rooting for? Why does it anger you to such profane levels that someone liked one team in 1992 and changed teams in 2002? Maybe they were following their Quarterback? Or beloved coach? The point is… calm down, stalker. Put your binoculars down and stop trying to police who’s watching whom. Focus on your own team. Regarding the incident where Seahawks fans mocked the Levi Stadium. Not cool. At all. But to label ALL Seahawks fans as uncouth and disrespectful A-holes? Come on, that is just a red herring if I ever saw one. That is like condemning an entire religion for their bad priests. Or the Jet’s for Michael Vick. O.J. Simpson. Martial Arts for Steven Seagal. It’s foolish thinking and just irresponsible verbal spewage. The Seahawks are supposed to follow the Fan Code of Conduct where bad behavior is discouraged. Unfortunately a few asswipes will ruin that for the rest of us. As I’m sure EVERY SINGLE TEAM will also endure. Personally, I do NOT know all the rules of football. I know many women who do – I am not one of them. But I do know a good game when I see one. And to me that is of utmost importance. Good game, good sportsmanship, and good comradery. We watch it as a family, we do our huddle, and have our special hand shake/high fives. We love it. So talk all the smack you want, you bullies. It doesn’t change who I’m cheering for at the next game. So if it seems like my knees are shaking when you throw your insults… that’s just earth shaking from #BEASTMODE.
