I was ONLY the 145th person to vote on Sandy Ridge! People, dont complain unless you try to do something about your situation. The coal industry is a way of life here in our area. It is all but gone, and unless we do something about it, it will be gone! My family (and probably yours because ALL industries in this area will be affected) depends on this economical form of energy. If no one in your immediate family is associated with the coal business, I really dont think youd have to look back very far to find someone in your own family who was/is dependent on a coal-industry-related job. Vote for coal today! (I normally shy away from political statements, but I feel strongly enough about this to say what I truly feel. If I offended anyone, I do apologize in advance, but my familys livelihood is dependent upon this issue ... Under these circumstances, I think you understand my sentiment.)
