I was chatting with Karla Briggs yesterday and she didnt have Chad Powell and Jessica Harris Powell PB bar recipe. Its a MUST TRY!! 1 large jar Adams peanut butter (36 oz) 1 cup nuts and/or seeds, any variety 1 cup dates 1/3 cup honey 1 to 3 cups plain protein powder ( I use whey, but you could try some others. If you like them soft, add less protein powder, if you are trying to get more protein add more. They do get a little more chalky after they sit for a minute, so dont go too crazy at first with the protein powder) 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips Process the nuts and dates in a food processor until they resemble fine crumbs (the chopped dates rolled in oats work the best for this you can get them in the bulk section at winco). Combine all the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a large bowl. The texture should be a lot like playdough. Press into a 9x13 inch pan. Melt the chocolate chips in ziplock bag in the microwave (watch them carefully or they will burn). Clip the tip of one of the corners of the ziplock bag and drizzle the chocolate over the bars. You can also sprinkle nuts on top and a drizzle of honey if you would like. Cut into 30 individual bars
