I was going through my old teaching box a bit ago trying to find a certain paper when this literally fell out into my lap out of a random manila folder! I had gotten rid of lots of my teaching stuff years ago, so I didnt even know that I still had this. Shannon had seen me doing literature circles in my 7th and 8th LA classroom at St. Matthew and asked me if she thought she could make it work for third grade . She worked on doing that and would bounce language arts ideas off me regularly. As much fun as she was to teach with, and she was FUUUUN, she was also a true professional always looking for best practices for teaching. I can only imagine the amazing things shes done and lives she touched in the past 13 years since I last worked with her.
