I was nominated for three three a day seven day positivity - TopicsExpress

I was nominated for three three a day seven day positivity challenge. I must name three things I am grateful for/positive about and nominate three people a day...no one is safe! I normally think things like this are silly but I like the spirit of this one and since someone took the time to nominate me ~ I guess I should participate =) 1. I am grateful God saw fit to gift me my McGee ~ I may get frustrated sometimes at his behavior or find it trying to help him thru meltdowns but when it comes down to it ~ he saved my life. We all know I wasnt making the best decisions 8-10 years ago and honestly, if I hadnt gotten pregnant when I did, I probably wouldnt be here to write this post....I would have drank myself into oblivion. He is the light that shines through my darkness and the one motivating factor that gets me through every day ~ He is my heart and I would be lost without him ~ 2. I am grateful that my mother is still in my life ~ at my age, thats not something a lot of my friends can say. Family wasnt always my priority and the older I get, the more I regret that. IM even more blessed that both of her parents are still alive and able to see McGee grow and for him to get a chance to love them as much as I do. I dont know what I would do if I ever lost any of them ~ ( I never got to know my father or his parents and I have always felt I was missing something because of that ~ I hope McGee never feels a void like that ~ a lack of closeness to his roots =/ ) 3. I am eternally gratefully for some of the amazing women I have been fortunate enough to cross paths with in my life(I will be more specific on future posts) and to be honest, Im grateful for the not so amazing ones too ~ they all taught me lessons. The biggest lesson I learned though (and sadly not soon enough) was to SUPPORT one another and TALK to each other instead of ABOUT each other ~ we have enough people/things keeping us down because we are the weaker gender, we dont need to do it to our sisters (or have them do it to us). I nominate Amanda Barber, Jessi Schaffner and April Gates
