I was recently discussing with some friends about how my year has - TopicsExpress

I was recently discussing with some friends about how my year has been so far. Yes, I have had quite a year so far, but I have also have many blessings. This year started with a bang, literally, as my 8 lb cat, Little bit, connected with my left eye. This left with me with a tremendous black eye, 1 inch laceration under my eyebrow, and a small puncture wound under my bottom lashes. It is now down to the final stages, Leaving me with some purple stippling under my left eye. I had my favorite cat, Gander, run out the door on Wednesday of the following week. He came home finally on Friday and succumbed to antifreeze poisoning. He passed early Saturday morning (the 11th) My bank account was hacked into on Monday (the 13th) due to PNC sending me an overdraft notice with my ENTIRE checking account information - just to be sure I understood which account they were talking about. I had grabbed their notice out of my mailbox, went in the house, hung up my coat, let my dog out, and used the restroom before looking at the mail. After letting the dog in, I went to look at my mail and realized the envelope had already been opened! the letter was in the envelope backwards and cock-eyed. Someone had obviously taken and written this information down. When I asked PNC to put an alert on and freeze my account, they refused until the account was current. I asked, WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING COMES THROUGH? I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD PROCESS IT AND I COULD DISPUTE IT ONCE THE ACCOUNT WAS CURRENT! On that Monday, my service engine soon light came on in my truck. I had no funds and was not expecting any until the 17th, when I got paid. i also was hovering on a 1/8 tank of gas. To add to this, by the 13th, I was also very low on groceries. I had pet food, but only 1 box of a litter (a necessity) to last me until I got paid on the 17th. Lets just say if this was an indicator of my year to be that I may wish to throw in the towel. But, as they say, God works in mysterious ways. Yes, getting the shiner was painful, but thankfully no real damage was done to my eye. Her claws could have easily cut my eyeball or injured my eye other ways. Gander is still a tender spot for me, but I a grateful he came home to spend his last few hours with me. Back at the end of November, I finally grabbed the last checkbook I had for PNC. I remember panicking for a moment thinking that I needed to order checks right way. I got a very strong message of Dont bother...youre changing accounts anyways. I took this to mean that I was moving to Georgia sooner than I thought. During Christmas break, I made arrangement to pay certain bills using a different bank that I have an account with. Normally, I ALWAYS use my PNC account for this. For some reason, I felt drawn to use this other account. It was too late to stop my auto deposit on the 17th, but I was able to clean out my account, getting my complete pay (minus overdraft charges) and close the account. All my bills were paid on time due to my wise changing the payment pre-arrangements to my other bank account. I have also managed to contact the 3 other companies that I had auto bill pay with and switch the account info with no delay in payments (so I remain a customer in good standing). Now, my other account will be my only bank - and the account comes with free identity theft protection! :) If I hadnt made a $2 error in my account in regards to paying my auto insurance, this never would have happened. But, since it did, it helped me see a glaring issue with PNC. To wait until after the fact to put an alert, freeze, or dispute an amount makes no sense. I had called the police to make an incident report of the possible (at that time) theft of my account information through mail tampering, but was told until something was actually taken from my account they could not make a report! Honestly, I thought mail tampering was a federal offense. But, things have worked out for me regarding this. A good friend lent me $20 for gas which made it able to get myself back and forth to work for the week. On Friday, I went to Auto Zone and had them run a diagnostic on the truck. I need a thermostat - a $10 part. I have added more antifreeze and it has helped, but the thermostat will still need replaced. I realized that unfortunately I am too short to reach the housing to change this myself. I have however received verification from a few friends that I should be able to wait since the truck still blows out heat and is barely rising in temperature. Plus, this cold weather actually works in my favor for this incident. It looks like the truck will not be repaired until February 14 due to pay concerns, but it will be a good time to get the thermostat fixed because I will already be getting my ball joints fixed then, too. I received a check from a client on the 15th and was able to run out and get some groceries. I had wrote the check off since I had serviced the client in November. It was $40 and it was a blessing. Plus, I went down to the basement to do laundry and found a box of litter! I am using the litter boxes to pack my stuff in because they are so handy and sturdy. I used to store my litter in the basement. I needed an empty box for books and found the box with all sorts of other empty boxes I have set aside for packing. Imagine my surprise to find a full box of litter instead! We are always surrounded by God, Spirit, the Universe and the Divine. When we truly maintain a positive focus and belief, good things happen. In discussing these events my one friend asked me how I could possible believe that things will work out. I told her that I stay focused in the moment and positively assert my I AM statements every day. The I AM statements have truly made a difference for me. They help to assert and cement the positive thoughts I feel bring me positive results. So, what are these statements? They are statements of intent and belief. I say them in the morning (normally while driving to work) and before bed. They are very important to me in the fact that I always feel better when I do them. They keep me positive, focused, and open. I always start with first 5 - they never change. Everything else might change, but not the first 5. So, to give you an idea of how to use these statements for yourself, I am sharing them with you. These statements must be said with heart and belief or they are chatterings and not worth much. I AM A SPARK OF THE DIVINE I AM A BEING OF LOVE AND LIGHT I AM A CHILD OF GOD I AM TRULY BLESSED AND AM ALWAYS GIVEN AND RECEIVE THE HIGHEST AND BEST I AM ONE WITH GOD, SPIRIT, THE UNIVERSE, MY GUIDES, AND ALL THAT IS DIVINE I AM POSITIVE, FOCUSED, AND SUCCESSFUL I AM TRULY HONORED, RESPECTED, LOVED, SUPPORTED, AND SUCCESSFUL IN POSITIVE WAYS IN ALL ASPECTS OF MY LIFE I AM ALWAYS GIVEN WHAT I REQUIRE I AM HEALTHY, STRONG, AND FIT I AM TRULY CONNECTED TO GOD, SPIRIT, THE UNIVERSE, MY GUIDES, AND ALL THAT IS DIVINE I AM FULLY HEARING, LISTENING TO, AND BEING POSITIVELY GUIDED BY GOD, SPIRIT, THE UNIVERSE, MY GUIDES, AND ALL THAT IS DIVINE I AM OPEN AND READY TO RECEIVE THAT WHICH IS THE HIGHEST AND BEST FOR ME I AM MOVING TO GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA - AND I HAVE THE FUNDS TO DO SO I AM PURCHASING MY OWN HOME - AND I HAVE THE FUNDS TO SO Now you get an idea of what to say. You can easily change the statement to suite you. The statements need to be positive. Stay away from negative statements, such as I AM not afraid, not in debt, no longer anxious, etc. These should be stated as I AM FREE from/of fear, debt, anxiety. Not is negative. I want a non-smoker is positive. I want someone who does not smoke is not. I have found that the not seems to not be heard, so I stay away from it and use positive focus words instead. I hope this helps you, too. I know that it is helping me. I may have some up hill battles and challenges, but I am also always being provided with a positive action to whatever is happening. Keep positive! Keep focused~! I know I AM!
