I was responsible for picking up messages at Fort Ord , and transporting prisoners back to Presidio of Monterey in my 1967 Chevy pickup truck. I was not assigned a weapon believe it or not with the prisoner thing. I a had to go close the North entrance to the facility when a protest group led by Jane Fonda was approaching .
