I was sad this morning and my roommate held me as I cried and assured me that everything is going to be okay. A lot of things in my life are changing, and bigger changes are just around the corner... and sometimes change can be scary or even heartbreaking. But I know I have a lot to look forward to and a lot to be excited about. I spent some time putting on my makeup (which I havent worn in quite a while) and reflecting on all that I have to be thankful for. I have a father who loves me and has yet to take his last breath, I have a job that I truly enjoy, I have a few amazing close friends who seem to catch me when I fall (and without judgement), and I have a roof over my head and food to eat. I have a bed to sleep in every night. I have new opportunities opening for me on a regular basis. When I think of all I have to be thankful for, suddenly the heartache and fear subside. I hope everyone has an amazing week.
