I was talking to a guy friend of mine. We always have the best discussions. Anyhow, he stated he believes love (speaking in terms of marriage) is a choice. Is love as simple as a choice? Is behaving in a loving way the choice? Can you love someone you no longer feel romantic towards in a marriage? Can you be fulfilled in a marriage you no longer feel romantic in? Can you get love back into a marriage, when you think you may have lost it? If you have the answer to that last question...you will be rich beyond you wildest dreams. LOL. Can you love through your development, or his?, can you love as the looks fade? can you love when live in a house with your spouse but, still feel alone? Can you love when you realize you dont even like your spouse anymore? Can you love as your personal growths take you in opposite directions? Can you love when one person is not behaving responsibility or the way you would like? Is it love if it cant survive the above questions? Has our society lost knowing how to love? Did our elders really understand love or were they simply less empowered to leave when love was lost? Hmmmmm. Chew on that. Feel free if you dare.
