I was talking to my teacher about Lahore yesterday. He asked, does Lahore have a lot of problems? in Arabic, which I had to get him to translate, since the word for problem is the same in Persian and Arabic which confused me for a second. I said yes, pointing out that there was the same problem with electricity shortages, and he asked if they also deal with problems with al-Qaida, and drone strikes on the frontier. I was able to reply in Arabic that the Taliban isnt al-Qaida, though it started with Taliban al-Qaida neest, which is also Persian. Shortly afterwards, the azan started for Zuhr prayer, and I looked outside at the Old City covered in sunlight.
