I was talking with my 5-year-old nephew, Kingston, on the phone yesterday and he said, I saw you on TV last night and you were talking to a strange man. Im assuming he meant Martin Short. Obviously hes not impressed that Im acting alongside a legend. Then he asked, Why are you not on TV every night? Oh, Im sorry, do you have any other aunts that are on television?! Is once not enough, little guy? Then I told him I was shopping and he asked if I was at Toys R Us. I said no and he said, Why not? with a lot of judgement in his voice, adding, Do you not want to buy any toys? When I told him I was at Banana Republic, he gave up and handed the phone back to my mom. Its a good thing my friends a member of the Fresh Beat Band or he would never talk to me again.
