I was working in the season ticket parking lot last night before - TopicsExpress

I was working in the season ticket parking lot last night before our football game. It was dusky dark a little after 7 p.m., when an irritating, misty rain began to fall. Almost immediately, the winds picked up. I started grumbling a little because I didnt have a jacket or umbrella with me. About that time, I noticed a little lady approaching me. It was Mama June. She reached up and gave me the biggest hug. She said that she wanted to thank me again for the kind words I said couple of weeks ago during the pre-game speech. She also thanked me for working out in the parking lot on such a miserable night. Here I am grumbling to myself about the weather, and she takes the time to walk out here and see me. Talk about a blessing. She means so much to me as well as our community. If anyone would have pulled into the parking lot at this time, you would have seen this ol boy fighting back the tears. Thank the good Lord for blessing the Central High community with Mrs. June Maxwell.
