I watched 12 Years a Slave this afternoon. I think it probably deserved best picture. It was very moving. However I dont get why Lupita Nuyonga got the Oscar for best supporting actress over Julia Roberts in August, Osage County, or Jennifer Lawrence in American Hustle. She did a very decent job but it had no real depth, VERY little dialog. Just my review... IMO the male lead, Chiwetel Ejiofor got robbed. He was outstanding!
