I watched 2001 A Space Odyssey and listened to Alices Restaurant. My turkey day traditions. I have so much to be thankful for. A great family and wonderful friends. Kids I dont deserve. A wife that puts up with me. I get to do something I love to do and would do for free and I actually get paid. I get to hang out with the best musicians. Im in a really good band. I get to make records with phenomenal people. Even my straight job is fantastic. I work with the best people. Hardworking caring people that bring their A game every day. I get to make kids smile. And again, they pay me for it. I get to coach my sons baseball team and every year I get to skate with my daughter in an ice show. I complain about all these things. Mostly about the minutiae in the details. I will attempt to be more grateful on the other 364 days. Happy Thanksgiving !
