I went to several meetings of which one was with the Superintendent of The Dallas Independent School District. Now I finally see why we have 15 & 16year old students in the 7th grade and why most of the graduates of DISD are not remotely prepared for college. DISD is the the new orientation for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and a faithful customer of the cemetery. The passion of teaching & educating has been sapped and replaced with newly strategies that almost guarantees these students fail. Now you add that with a bunch a parents who cant help their first grade children with homework because they dont know how to do it and there you have it……thats the formula….. And Mike Miles is a dictator who is the king of no compassion and know-how. I recommend the board fire him immediately and we get some strategies/initiatives in there to help our black & brown students to read on third grade level while in second grade.
