I will be gone all day today visiting the Gentle Barn and Farm Sanctuary (two separate farm sanctuaries) north of LA. So I will leave you all with this review of The Dog Lived (mostly because it will make Chris laugh...and then frighten him): "I bought this book months ago, read a couple chapters, then lost it. One day last week, I was assigned a job working the front desk at an office while the usual secretary was out-of-town. I knew that my day would be very boring, consisting of only answering the phones in a mostly empty office. Just as I walk out the door on the way to this job, I find the book. I read the entire book in one sitting. I fooking loved it!!! I too love beagles, which is why I bought the book in the first place. I fell in love with Seamus, Teresa, and Chris!! Great book with lots of laughs, a few tears, and many triumphs!!! The book was near perfect...only four words were missing from the end of the book..,"will you marry me?"
