I will once again say the Steelers are the Stinkers. Consider: -Win one, lose one...win one, lose one...win one...? That looks an awful lot like another 8-8 season to me. -The teams weve played are a combined 9-15. -We are only +6 after five games in the Points For/Points Against category. -We lost to a team (Tampa Bay) that was 0-3 at the time. Theyre now 1-4. -If not for a late pick six, we would have beaten an 0-5 team (Jaguars) by only one point today. The Steelers are simply a BAD team. The window has closed on Roethlisberger. Hes throwing balls into the ground, he can barely avoid the pass rush, and hes obviously fat. When I saw the press conference, he looked like he was still wearing his flak jacket under his suit, and the button was about to pop. Fraud Haleys offense only calls for about four deep throws a game, the line cant pass block, and Ben can only complete about one out of four of those attempts. Haleys screens and quick slants just arent putting points on the board, and the defense isnt good enough to win those 13-10 games every week. We finally have a good running back, but the passing game isnt good enough to get the ball into the end zone. As the weather turns bad, it will be harder to kick field goals into that windy end of horseshoe at Heinz Field, and points will be even more difficult to come by. Need I go on? This team just sucks. Ill bet Bruce Arians offense could put 27 points a week on the board, against ANY defense, but NOOOOO, we fired him, didnt we? He passed to much, and the Rooneyfools wanted to get back to Steelers football with a power running game. Hey! Dan, Art, Kevin, hows THAT working for you? Glad you brought in your old gumba Dick Haleys son for the offensive coordinator? Glad you havent gotten a quarterback for the future? Glad you dont have a punter? Glad you have an affirmative action coach who doesnt know anything except the forty phrases you need to succeed in the NFL, (process, moving forward, learn from this, evaluate our performance, etc.) and who just called your Hall of Fame defensive coordinator an old white guy? The Steelers blow. Theres no other way to say it.
