I will praise You in this storm. Heavenly Father, how marvelous - TopicsExpress

I will praise You in this storm. Heavenly Father, how marvelous and wonderful You are! We are amazed minute-by-minute, Lord, by the miracle of human life…all the inner workings of our complicated bodies and how only You could design us. Why, then, are we shocked when these intricate and fragile bodies leave this earth? In our human understanding of time, it’s just too soon. Lord, we know You weep with us and hold our tears in Your hand. I pray for the comfort of Eric’s family and friends, for both those who knew him well and those who had only a brief glimpse of Your work in him and through him. Let them feel Your hand on their hearts. Assure them you understand their grief and sorrow. Lord, let them find comfort in Your arms, and if there are those among them who are not yet believers, let them finally call you Friend. Let their hearts be open to seeing the miracle of healing only You can provide, Jehovah Raffa. We know as we seek You, Father, that You not only heal bodies, but also minds, hearts and souls. And You rejoice with us, Father. We know that even in our grief, Your Kingdom will be glorified. We ask that the Holy Spirit would come upon us and envelop us, that our words would be of comfort and that our every effort to lift each other up through this difficult time – every word, every gesture - would surely have Your Name written all over them. Let all praise be to You, oh Lord, our Almighty God, who sent Jesus as our Lord and Savior…how wonderful You are! We seek you, Father, and we pray for a peace only You can provide. In the name of the precious Lamb, Jesus Christ, Amen. Lifting up Debbie Davidson Howell, Amanda Christine Oliver, Shannon OSullivan
