I will soon be unemployed for the first time since I was 15 years old, and I feel like this would be the perfect time to figure out exactly what I want to do when I grow up. I wouldnt trade my kids for anything, but the biggest regret of my life is not finishing my degree BEFORE starting a family, and this may be the only opportunity I get to finish it with no excuses. Every time I talk about finishing school, a ton of people tell me how much assistance there is available for single moms but other than the standard student loans/financial aid, I have no idea what other assistance would be available or where to look......which are scams and which are legit? If anyone has any suggestions or advice, it is very much appreciated!!
