I witnessed a vehicular accident minutes after it occurred on East Judge Perez Drive in front on La Bella Vita reception hall on the early afternoon of January 3 of this year. It was a small SUV type vehicle that hit the curb(s) going eastward (aka towards down the road.) The SUV was in bad shape. That lane was closed for at least an hour or two afterwards. My coworker knew someone that knew those in this vehicle, and this person said that there was 4 teens inside and 2 died. I have been trying to find out any info online since it happened and I cant find anything at all no matter what I type in search. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. I witnessed another accident this past Sunday right off St Bernard Hwy and W. Chalmette Circle at around 3 pm. It was a truck that turned onto this street and lost control somehow and landed on the first houses front lawn. People were stopping and getting out to help as were the people who lived in that house. I saw someone trying to climb out of the trucks driver side window. I saw a dead cat on the skid marks and wondered if that caused it. If anyone knows about this one please let me know. Just strange how there is many other vehicular incidents in the news online but none about these.
