I woke to some very clear words the other day…. They were: freedom without focus has the danger of becoming lost. A simple one liner, but it grabbed my attention, since with the voice came an image in my mind of a very large telescope being handed to me. When I put a telescope to my eye there are always adjustments to be made in order to get a closer look at things and see them more clearly. We are in a time when God is partnering with us and asking us to become focussed. It is interesting that He handed me the telescope. He is not the one making the adjustments, but I am. I sense that Holy Spirit is speaking to those of us who are easily distracted by the many things that come into our playing field because of new found freedom. And HS wants to teach us to manage our freedom so that it releases in us Holy Potential, which is unstoppable. God wants to narrow the playing field in some areas and bring us into the disciplines required for us to focus on our own unique destiny and purpose. There is a grace on FOCUS right now. Grab it.
