I woke up this morning an hour late. In a rush to get to the office, I forgot to put on my shirt. I dropped my purse and brief case in laughter saying to myself, oh my gawd, hurry up silly woman. As I was walking back to my bedroom, I heard knocking on my door like they were the police. I assumed it was my children coming home to get some clothes for the day after spending the night with their Aunty Brandy. I looked through the peep hole and saw that no one was there. I assumed it was my sons playing their usual SURPRISE MOMMY ITS US! prank... Fortunately it wasnt. I opened the door and a white couple bum rushes into my home crying and in a panic saying, Please help us they are trying to kill us. A portion of me said Um, you on your own bruhs. Then another portion said, Toya, if this was you, what would you want someone to do for you? So they locked my door and begged for me to call 911 because they were being robbed at gun point in such and in such beautiful safe neighborhood. I told them to hide in my closet. I called 911 and as peeped secretly through my blinds I saw them, one with a gun in their hand ready to end others. I became historical yet calm in the most oddest state unknown. All of a sudden they came out of the closet whispering they are here, do you have a gun to protect yourself? Without thought I simply replied NO I HAVE A GOD, SO KEEP SILENT OR ELSE THEY WILL HEAR YOU AND KNOW YOU ARE HERE, I HAVE 2 KIDS... Then the tears ran down their face and the young man mouthed to me Im so sorry. The 911 lady then tells me Mam the police are there and you have 10 seconds to get to the door or else they will break the door down. In seconds I looked trough my peephole and saw two men LOCKED AND LOAD READY TO RISK THEIR LIVES FOR THE OCCASION. I opened the door and they came in knocking me out the way guns drawn yelling, POLICE, COME OUT.. GET ON YOUR KNEES NOW. As they poured out of hiding , they got on their knees eyes full of safety tears and immediately explained their story. The police then allowed them to stand from their knees. The couple then says, can we please give our guardian angel a hug. They then gave me a hug unknowingly saying, Thank you for saving our lives, you are our guardian angel. They all then exited my home full of thankfulness. As my door closed I stood there and PRAISED MY GOD WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL. Everything happened within minutes unaccountable. ONE THINGS FOR SURE AND TWO THINGS FOR CERTAIN AND THAT IS GOD KNOWS WHERE TO COVER US and who is appointed to help with the covering in order to show HIS FAVOR. LM: One day that couple will tell a story of their testimony and I will be in it and they will be in mine. WHEN I TELL YOU LOOK AT GOD... BABY LOOK AT HOW GOD WORKS! HE USED ME AND FOR THAT I AM HUMBLED AND THANKFUL. His grace is amazing.....
