I woke up this morning with my mind......stayed upon JESUS!!! Then my mind started thinking about all the great plans God has. And instead of just staying at peace, instead of just sitting and praising the Lord for who He is, instead of simply rejoicing....I began to list in my mind all of the things I needed to do. These were good thoughts. They are important to bring about good ministry. But God (gotta watch out...whenever you see those words But God...)........but God had other plans for those minutes upon awakening. I used to live by some words from another spiritual book. In that book were some wonderful directions for me. One of them was this: On awakening let us think about the twenty-four hours ahead. We consider our plans for the day. As good as that is, sometimes I just need to focus on the Planner FIRST, and THEN the plans. Jesus! Thank You Jesus for sending the Holy Spirit. Like Gerri and Salome sitting in praise and worship the other morning, you can see the results: The Peace and Joy of our God inside of them comes forth in a visible way! Jesus! Peace and Joy! Something there worth keeping my mind stayed upon...dont ya think?!?
