I wont be popular when I say that God does not always heal every disease, Christian or not. Does this mean he does not love those he created and who suffer? Of course not, but true healing involves putting your needs above others, contentment in situations, knowing that Gods strength is made perfect in your weakness. If you do receive physical healing its because He has chosen to heal you for a reason and for a season. If you suffer physically or emotionally the rest of your life, know that your Heavenly Father is giving you his strength in your weakness and eventually total healing comes with eternal life. I know its hard to understand and accept this especially here with American Christianity, many of us equate healing with the goodness of God instead of acknowledging that our Father is simply good. There are many things that well wrestle with from now until Heaven and HEALING will be on the top of the list. The Apostle Paul said it best: 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 8 Three different times I begged God to make me well again. 9 Each time he said, “No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people.” Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ’s power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities. 10 Since I know it is all for Christ’s good, I am quite happy about “the thorn,” and about insults and hardships, persecutions and difficulties; for when I am weak, then I am strong—the less I have, the more I depend on him.
