I would like to add: School went well today despite everyone being a bit unsettled, which is normal and expected after what happened yesterday. In speaking with many of the staff and students, they were glad they came here today and were glad to see added security and the extra precautions we have taken. We have strengthened security here at the high school and Mr. Clark has taken measures to lengthen the time of that security personnel are here and are continuing to pursue other ways to help our students remain secure so they can focus on their education. We are complying with and are actively involved in assisting Ashland County Sheriff and the FBI regarding the threat. We will have school tomorrow. And, just like today, I would like all students to anticipate coming through the main, front entrance to the high school. Everyone liked the fact that we checked bags at the front entrance of all bags being brought into the school. We will do this at least through the rest of the week. If you wish to speak to me, there is a good possibility I will not be able to field your call or respond as quickly as I would like. If you do choose to leave a message, please leave your name and phone number and please speak clearly, especially if you use a cell phone.
