I would like to say that I respect you very much and appreciate the knowledge and the openness of which you share it. I have learned so much by being a part of this group. I dont know if most or any of you really know very much about me so I thought I would share just a little. I am a single mother of two amazing children, one 9 and one 2. They are the reason I breathe. I do have other family but we are pretty much estranged due to distance and life in general really. My mom passed away in 2012, beyond her I am close to my sister and niece. I currently live in southern IL which I dont care for at all! I pay very close attention to many different things that are going on...politically, environmentally, internationally, even religiously. I have my opinions which I will leave as a vague...my opinion is that something major is going to happen for one reason or another. My dream would be to start a permaculture/prepping community of like minded, trustworthy individuals who share the same ideals and values as myself. Survival in numbers. Not just survive but thrive, and restore some order in a world of chaos. I have looked at different scenarios played in every area of the US and have a few great locations in my opinion that could prove to be strong holds in any given situation. It will take time and trust and tons of hard work...but if you are interested...please let me know.
