I would love to meet another band 7 in my company that is a client account manager, marketing manager; executes day to day projects, a strategist, acts as intermediary team lead, counsels more recent team members, administers their own admin, manages budgets with many $$$$M attached; lends themselves out to (or most of the time just independently volunteered to an ad-hoc project) another teams projects; is vilified for not delivering to sales teams whims or woe be-tide had a valid argument to ask for patience .... and that list could go on for a few more pages. But my big beef - the company I work for want a square peg in a square hole. Instead of seeing that a person has evolved a job to a whole new level & re-grading that job. The only route they give me to progress a grading level, is to do a job I detest for a few years; instead of progressing their obvious talent within the job that is their natural talent & the job theyre already in!!!! OK sorry dummy spit done
