I would really appreciate it if you guys read this, I know its a wall of text but please, read this. A bit of incentive to read it too, its music related. Its been a long time, hell, I think this may be one of the first times, that a song has had this big of an initial impact on me. Area 11s new tune, In The Blind off there soon to be released Underline EP did it to me. Just like their song Homunculus did in May/June. I physically lack words when trying to describe this song, it brings me the most pure joy, excitement and happiness when I hear it, but even then, I lack a way of describing how it really makes me feel. No matter how literate you may be, or how smart you may be, nobody can truly describe the way a song makes you feel on a deep, emotional level. Music is a unique experience for everyone, we will never collectively feel the same way about a song, we can never collectively agree on our experience listening to that one song for the first time. Hell, I decided to start recording myself on my Mac as I listened to it on repeat for the last half hour, I recorded about 11 minutes worth, but it was enough to show my pure, initial reaction to hearing this song for the first time. Music is one of the few mediums that can reduce someone to their most pure emotional and physical level, incapable and thinking, just feeling. Nothing else on this earth impacts us like music does, it is the most amazing and powerful thing us humans have seemingly constructed and mastered. Music is what feelings sound like -- feelings before we analyze and deconstruct them into digestible abstractions like happy feeling or sad feeling. Music is just pure feeling. Andrew W.K. Thank you for reading this guys, means a lot to me. :) Homunculus: The song that turned me into a pile of emotional mush 6 months ago, now being re-experienced 10 fold with In The Blind. https://youtube/watch?v=N5FxUfu-meo
