I write this as I sit in the doctors office with my dear neighbor who has been struggling with brain tumors for 8 years now! She has such strong faith and though her and I shed tears this morning - I know as a Christian, she will remember that cancer cannot take away the Spirit’s abiding ministry in her heart and life. Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would have an eternal abiding ministry in your heart and life (“for ever”). The Spirit is promised to be your helper (“Comforter”) as He reveals the power and provision of the life of Jesus Christ to your own personal life. In other words, the ministry of the Holy Spirit takes the things of Christ and makes them real and precious to your own life. I love you my sweet neighbor Sherry Smith King Jeff King
