IMF predicts GDP growth in Georgia in 2014 to 5% TBILISI , November 22. Acting Minister of Finance of Georgia Nodar Khaduri met with International Monetary Fund mission led by Mark Griffiths . The meeting was held in connection with the completion of the mission in Georgia. As stated Khaduri , with the IMF failed to reach agreement on several issues , including the projected economic growth, inflation and fiscal deficit . The IMF mission almost shares the views of the government of Georgia, which gives us great hope for the execution of next year all planned macroeconomic indicators , - said Khaduri , the Georgia -Online. Mark Griffiths , in turn, expressed the assumption that economic growth in Georgia this year will be about 2.5-3% , and in 2014 - 5%. According to the head of the IMF mission to achieve this indicator need economic stability, improved business climate, fiscal stimulus within reasonable limits and promote foreign investment. He advised the government to intensify efforts to eradicate unemployment and creating new jobs . Earlier today , Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev predicted that by the end of this year, Russias GDP will grow at best 2%. For nine months , GDP growth was 1.5% in 2012 ( for the same period ) - 4%.
