IMO YOUTHS AND SOCIAL MEDIA IMO Social Media Award promoted by SOCIAL MEDIA SEARCHLIGHT TEAM is aimed at encouraging and celebrating IMOLITES who in one way or the other contributed towards the development of IMO state through social media Crusade, advocacy and campaign against bad leadership and mismanagement of Imo collective wealth through constructive criticism of state government policies and programmes. Youths in strategic partnership with government, advocates for integration, undertaking critical appraisals by X-raying government developmental framework and Mission Statement, Asking critical questions like how far, how well, what impart on the social economic growth and wellbeing of Imo populace. And making a great deal and contributions through feedback mechanism while encouraging robust debate and constructive engagement. These IMOlites spend there time, money and energy to inform , educate and enlighten citizens on what is happening in our state. The advent of social media in IMO state has, and is gradually sharping our polity. The Recipients of those award are mostly IMO youths with great minds who are ready at all times to educate, inform and enlighten the public on issues of governance while keeping the government on its toes by demanding responsiveness, accountability, transparency, Rule of law, due process and inclusiveness. We are in it together and together we move Imo forward. Good governance is all we ask for. I, therefore, congratulate all those who are the FIRST beneficiary of the median AWARD.
