IMPORTANT NEWS REGARDING THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF REAL ESTATE Effective July 1st, licensees must use "BRE", "Bureau", or "Bureau of Real Estate" and no longer include references to "Department of Real Estate." This change is required on all solicitation and marketing materials. The Bureau of Real Estate indicates it will not be citing licensees solely based on the use of solicitation materials that reference DRE. However, licensees should make every reasonable effort to exhaust their existing stock over the upcoming months and make the appropriate changes when re-ordering or creating new solicitation materials.
