INFINITE REGRESSION Or Infinite regress is a series of an infinitely cascading propositions, where the validity of one depends on the validity of the one which follows and/or proceeds it. Viciously circular infinite regressions, are propositions which reintroduce their own proposition in the solution. Infinite Regress when applied to some Naturalists belief that the universe had no beginning; is the principle contradiction to the Law of Causality or Kalam Cosmological argument. The Law of Causality most commonly rendered as follows: 1) Everything that begins to exist has a cause; 2) The universe began to exist; 3) Therefore: The universe has a cause. Unfortunately, Kalam is NOT the end of the argument, since atheists and antitheists tend to argue just about everything in infinitely revolving circles. Or arguments that sound absolutely absurd for example: Firstly, The Universe is infinite and had no beginning. This of course has been disproven by the very science an atheist will use to reinforce his/her belief. They will make attempts to ignore their own scientific discoveries. Secondly, Infinite regress not only applies to nature, but to a conscience being as well. If God for example exists, than God would require a beginning. Except the Atheist either ignores the Kalam arguments premise or misunderstands it. The premise does not insist that EVERYTHING that exists, has a cause. Rather, it states that everything that BEGINS to exist, has a cause. This wouldnt apply to God, since God is both the creator of space/time and transcends it. God does NOT have a beginning and is not subject to time for a beginning to even have meaning in that sense. Do your own research and read for yourself. -tp sf
