The work of the Communications team is a key component at SCC: the team is not only responsible for raising the funds necessary for operating our educational programmes but also responsible for raising awareness of who we are and what we do, both in Vietnam and overseas. We are now having an internship position available for potential candidates to join our small,highly effective team. A. Overall requirements: Duration: 6 months Availability:part-time (20 hours/week) for the first 2 months, and full-time for the last 4months Starting day:03/09/2014. Allowance:negotiable. B. PR and social media (first 2 months): Job descriptions: · Assisting in the monitoring,reporting of and engagement in social media related to organisations activities and issues related to the company. · Developing and maintaining a strong base of relationships with various businesses. · Writing and editing unique and engaging content for organisations website, Facebook and newsletters. · Attending events or meetings with potential targets, maintaining up-to-date, detailed competitors and market analysis. · Work effectively in across-functional atmosphere and present ideas and designs effectively. · Tracking, measuring, and recording media hits · Utilizing organisation’s social media as an effective public relations tool · Juggling multiple projects simultaneously, such as planning marketing events, writing press releases, and creating media kits and digital campaigns. C. Season card project (last 4 months): Job descriptions: · Be in charge of the sales items project with supervision of a relevant SCC staff · Be a leader of a sub team (volunteers) to carry out the project · Be the key contact in receiving, following and finishing orders of our donors. · Managing every single step in executing an order to make sure everything is on track and on time · Keep tracking of all financial matters relating to the project · Report to the SCC staff every week · Other ad hoc tasks D. Position requirements: · Students who are just graduated or in final year · Major: Business(specified in Marketing/sales) · Be familiar with paper printing materials, souvenir items · Have a sense of basic graphic design or having basic design skills · Skills: writing(English and Vietnamese), communications, good English, project management,leadership, time management, problem solving, IT (Microsoft Office) · Dynamic, active,reliable, quick learning and can-do attitude · Ability to handle confidential information · Experience using many different forms of social media · Working well under pressure and deadlines and superior attention to details https://facebook/notes/saigon-childrens-charity/internship-position-with-scc/566594980118080?ref=notif¬if_t=notify_me
