ITS A RELATIONSHIP NOT RELIGION? How could one start a relationship to God without religion? First we have to look on the past to know the truth. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and all the Jews had a relation with God through the Covenant. God gave them Laws, through Moses written in the tablets of stone which they accept and obeyed. And they have this religion called Judaism. Thus, they established a relationship with each other. And made circumcision and the 7th Day Sabbath as their sign. IN THE PART OF GOD BECAUSE OF THAT RELATIONSHIP, HE SAID: I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. AND IN THE PART OF MAN, IS THIS: “As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come. 10 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant. 14 Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.” The living evidence today ARE the Jews who still practiced Judaism. Whose part in history has been written also during the reign of King Antiochus. He has described the battles with Antiochus Epiphanes and with his son Eupator, and he has told of the heavenly visions that appeared to those who fought bravely and enthusiastically to defend Judaism... And on the days of Christ and the Apostles, some of them were converted to Christianity. Because God through Christ made another Covenant - The New Covenant making the old obsolete. In the case of a will,[a] it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, 17 because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear. So by the power and grace of God, they become the followers of Christ or his body - The Church of Christ! Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by[a] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 4 When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God. (Acts 13:43) And certainly follows the gospel of Christ which clearly states that Christ became the ultimate sacrifice on one of its Judaic Law - The Passover. Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes[a] his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. 11 After he has suffered, he will see the light of life[b] and be satisfied[c]; by his knowledge[d] my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[e] and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[f] because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53:10-12) And so he died for us. And all who accept him as their Lord and Savior celebrates the Feast! Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1Cor.5:7-8) So by celebrating the Feast of God, we surely became his body! Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf. IF NOT, THEN WE ARE BEING LEAD ASTRAY...TO IDOL WORSHIP THROUGH THE PERVERTED GOSPEL WHICH IS TO EAT A BODY OF JESUS (BREAD) IN ANOTHER FASHION AND TIME RATHER THAN THE PASSOVER! But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. 16 Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? 17 Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf. 18 Consider the people of Israel: Do not those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar? 19 Do I mean then that food sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? 20 No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. 22 Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he? YES, BECAUSE THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL CELEBRATES THE FEAST IN CONFORMITY OF THE LAW GIVEN BY THE MOST HIGH - THE PASSOVER! So, Christianity became their new faith or religion which still retains those signs: Circumcision by heart: No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God. (Romans 2:29) And entering the 7th day Sabbath: For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.[a] 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said, “So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.’”[b] And yet his works have been finished since the creation of the world. 4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.” (Hebrews 4:2-4) Instead, they had some points of dispute with him about their own religion and about a dead man named Jesus who Paul claimed was alive. (Acts 25:19) Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— 2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, 3 and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior, 4 To Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. (Titus 1:1-4 - NIV) From Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I was chosen and sent to help the faith of Gods chosen people and to lead them to the truth taught by our religion, 2 which is based on the hope for eternal life. God, who does not lie, promised us this life before the beginning of time, 3 and at the right time he revealed it in his message. This was entrusted to me, and I proclaim it by order of God our Savior. 4 I write to Titus, my true son in the faith that we have in common. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior give you grace and peace. (Titus 1:1-4 - GNT) AND THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE DONE BY JESUS FOR ALL TIME TO COME AS THE PASSOVER LAMB OF GOD! THEREFORE, NO ONE COULD HAVE A RELATION WITH GOD WITHOUT HIS ESTABLISHED RELIGION OR CHURCH UNDER THE NEW COVENANT! AND THERE IS ONLY ONE RELIGION THAT GOD THE FATHER ACCEPTS. Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. (James 1:26-27) SO PLEASE, DONT BE DECEIVED. WE MUST HAVE A RELIGION TO HAVE AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!...GOD BLESS...
