Iam confused! Can u help? History have it that; Paul changed from a crazed destroyer of Christians to a committed Christian Leader. According to the Bible, God is love & he share this love equally to everyone. I leanrnt that God appeared/arrested Paul on his way to Damascus to kill Christians- making him to repent under circumstance. As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me? Who are you, lord? Saul asked. And the voice replied, I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! (Acts 9:3-5). What i want to understand here is; Why did God personally arrested Paul and made him to repent & abandoned other sinners? Was Saul the only sinner of his time? Why didnt God save Judah Iscariot, Golliat and others in such a way? Is this not preferential treatment or selfishness?
