If I had to sit here and name all the people who said my son would be special at a young age in the sport of boxing it would take too long...but when I think back to when it all began I figure it be worth a try and all the people involved deserves to be mentioned...some of you I know personally and others have entered our lives via social media which is just as important to me...this is a big thank you from my son and I from the heart...my parents, my wife Talea, my siblings, my children, my family, my best friend Rodney, thanks...my entire FB family, Instagram family, Twitter family, ECC/NFF Boxing w/Ofa Donaldson who really gave Lil Future his first start in the gym, Tamir SPK Herbert, Dante Snuggleytime Selby who came and watched Jamir train and was inspired by his work ethic and skill level and they took their craft to a different level in the game, Charles Cobra Hayward for sharing his personal stories about his amateur days being golden gloves national champ, coach Rev who worked Futures corner during his first few sparring sessions, all the NFF gym members, My man Justin Haskell who promoted Future whenever he got a chance, BAM Boxing and Brittany Rogers who gave Jamir his first boxing article and paved the way for his Comcast Sportsnet feature, Percy Crawford who saw talent and kept his word for a spot on FightHype...Markeem Kendall who had a vision and respected my vision and passion for my sons success and the struggle we still fight...Angel Manfredy for the talks we had for hours on the phone and him sharing his story with me and Future, The Garcias for giving us inspiration as father/son world champions, TJ and Tom Velasquez who watched Jamir grow up from a baby and now they help him anyway they can. Last but not least to all of Futures sparring partners and gym mates who train with him day in and day out...hope he made you guys proud. #humbledspiritsweare
