If any of our customers are unclear as to why we have had to close for the odd day here and there this year, we have not been on any jollies (accept my 50th birthday) it is mainly because we are a family run business and Bill has lost his eyesight in one eye. After several gruelling operations under a local anaesthetic (brave or what?), he still has more to go. We close because he has to get to Moorfields in Old Street London and needs accompanying back. As his wife I hold his hand. Sometimes your loved ones have to come before work. Breathe Sharon..... To the charming person who wrote on Tripadvisor I am sure you have more luxury days off than we have in the past TEN YEARS. I took one day off to bury my father and returned to work so I can make you a sandwich without mustard. You have set up an account just to slate us, very strange???? If you have any concerns about service or otherwise and have been a long standing customer, please talk to us.
