If any of you local Bridgewater Trianglers havent bought their Christmas tree yet I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Happy Greenery on Route 58 in Abington where Claytons (just beyond the Abington/Whitman town line) used to be. The trees are AWESOME and beyond reasonable: I paid $35 for a picture-perfect 10-foot tree that would have been at least $80 elsewhere. Make it a little Bridgewater Triangle field trip...check out the monument to the first bell foundry in America where Paul Revere learned the craft of bell making (South Ave., Whitman) or drive just a little further and take a selfie in front of the monument to invention of the Toll House Cookie (route 18, Whitman.) OR you could continue on Route 58 in Abington all the way to Weymouth line and see the Heape of Stones...the first boundary marker in America.
