If, as i contend, the main problem facing the Afrikan nation wherever we are in the world is The Mis-Education Of The Negro, then it should follow that the leaders we produce should be about educating the people to the realities of our situation, connecting the dots to show how all of us are confronting the same forces, and proposing solutions. That is the difference between a Malcolm X and a Barack Obomber for example. One teaches, organizes, and mobilizes, the other is content to just acquire power and material wealth for himself and his family at any cost to the rest of the Afrikan family. And that is why we must stop following people who purport to be leaders, or who are assigned to us by the powers that be, Al Sharpton or the Congressional Black Caucus for example. Because of the nature of the capitalist system and because of the corrosive effects of wealth and power, we should only acknowledge as leaders those who live among the people and with a lifestyle expressly given by the conscious people themselves. Whether it be a Minister Farrakhan living in a $6,000,000 home or a Barack Obomber with the power to sign fascist laws and launch drone bombs on innocent people at will, we should always be skeptical of those we choose to lead. Malcolm X should be our model.
