If laughter is medicine, comedian Joey Guila has your prescription. Hear about Joeys path to the comedy stage and television screen this Saturday! This Bay Area native went from being a hair dresser on Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills to making pesos as a funny guy with a pompadour in the comedy scene. His multicultural style and his ability to connect New School and Old School has led him to win the regional Kings of Comedy competition in 2004 and was then invited to perform on P Diddys Bad Boys of Comedy early in his career. Since then, Joey has traveled the world spreading laughter and has hosted his own TV shows, Thats My Jam and Myx Rated, which won a Telly Award. His past guests have been Boyz II Men, Justin Bieber, Naughty By Nature, Amerie, Jason Derulo, and many others. Joey has also been featured on VH1, G4 Tech TV, Showtime and has opened for the Jabbawockeez and Bruno Mars. Currently, he is on The Filipino Kingz Comedy Tour and hosts a new Tech show called Gear Addix. Joey is now finally able to make his car payments on time and hopes to be the 1st Asian to put a chandelier in his mobile home on Cribs.
