If only my kids generation would realize how amazing everything is and how good theyve got it... They just dont know what it is like not to have absolutely EVERYTHING instantaneously... EVERYTHING!! I remember having to do a report for school, having to go to the library to look up the books I needed in the card file, then going to find the books. It took hours! Dialing a rotary phone, one of two in the entire house (both attached to the wall). Having to make popcorn on the stove and not having it in less than 2.5 minutes right out of the microwave buttered and all. Kids these days push the stop button seconds before the timer goes off because it is taking too long... Wrapping my school books in paper bags. Wrapping sandwiches in wax paper because baggies werent invented yet. I remember when our astronauts landed on the moon...Watching it on a black and white TV and my dad having to adjust the rabbit ears to get the picture to come in. It was just amazing to see that!!! When something broke, we fixed it. I wish we could go back to the days where everything wasnt so automatic, dispensable, or disposable.
