If the religious took the energy expended in the futility of trying to disprove science and put it into something useful, who knows where humanity would be today. Four centuries past Copernicus and Galileo, religious people still live deluded lives. What is the difference between those who opposed Copernicus and Galileo and those who oppose Darwin and Hubble? Not one thing. Same kind of evidence. You would think after centuries of having nearly every belief in the cosmos based on the Bible being proven wrong that religious people would just come to their senses. There is a link proven literally 100s of millions times over between religious belief and delusional/irrational thinking. Of course none of that disproves God in the least. What it proves it the the belief in fables, myths, doctrine and dogma invented my man leads to very little in the way of truths of the physical world. Which of course begs the question of why a spiritual person NEEDS to have physical proof to begin with. One has to suspect such faith is no more real than anything. Nothing more than a ignorant group of people who are incapable of growing past childhood fairytales. Too bad these man-children have killed or abused so many in history for what amounted to lies. There are plenty of theories disproven by science itself. Not one has ever been disproven by religion. Consider all those Christians who for 2000 years believed utter nonsense. What can be said of a God who allowed ALL his followers to be that ignorant?
