If we stood in someone else’s shoes and experienced their experiences, would we treat them differently? I would sure hope I dont, And why would we have to first stand in their shoes in the first place just to decide how to treat someone.... Can’t we just change the way we see people? Change our lens? Living my lifes journey has certainly changed my lens. Things aren’t always what you think you see. It has opened my eyes to know everyone has scars, visible and invisible. It has trained my spirit in compassion. I try really hard to see people through their own needs and unique challenges. And I strive to be gentle with everyone I meet. I don’t always know the journey they are on, but I do know they each have their own scars. I don’t have to see what they see and feel what they feel to know that they deserve love and care and compassion. Our time on earth is about more than just us. Our time here is precious...So its always better to be kind with those you meet; they were made in His image. You don’t have to know the special journey God has them on in life, but you can be the gentle person they encounter that makes a huge impact on them......1 Peter 3;8 says Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion, one of another, love as brethern, be pitiful, be courteous.........
